Description

The 2nd Annual community-wide celebration of winter is February 13-21, 2026. A wide range of activities will get residents out to enjoy the winter season and support local businesses. Activities will be provided by the Centennial Area Chamber, local businesses, civic organizations, and Anoka County, with fun for all ages! Event highlights include a coloring contest, a candlelight walk, a drink tour, a community campfire, and a medallion hunt. Medallion Hunt clues begin on Monday, February 16th, with a cash prize of $500 (coordinated and donated by Renstrom Dental Lab)!. See the growing list of activities below.   • Lions Ice Fishing Contest - February 21 - 9 AM - 2 PM The Centerville Lions Ice Fishing Contest returns for the 41st year! A favorite winter tradition packed with fishing, fun, and great prizes! Booya, chili, hot dogs, beer, mixed drinks, and more are available for purchase. Bring your friends, family, and fishing gear for a day on the ice while supporting local Lions projects that make a difference right here in our community Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just love a fun winter event, this contest is for you!
